L´italia
The
italian chapter
Di montagna
At Bocca di Valle, a 1970s mountain house located in Majella National Park, in the Italian region of Abruzzo, architecture is a way of being. From the outset, this building was conceived as a place to be enjoyed. A place that, beyond its noble materials and geometries, is there to be contemplated but, above all, lived in.
The house brings together all the signs that reveal it as a living space: food cooking on the stove, the fire burning in the fireplace, freshly brewed coffee.
Bocca di Valle leaves a lasting impression through its authenticity. An architectural project inhabited from the very beginning and directly connected to its surroundings and to the way of life of rural Italy.
