Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon curd
  • 2 tablespoons limoncello
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  • Whisk the sugar, lemon curd, and limoncello in a large bowl until the sugar has dissolved and the ingredients are well combined.
  • Add the cream, milk, and lemon zest, and whisk again until everything is fully mixed.
  • Pour the lemon ice cream mixture into the ice cream maker container, cover with the storage lid, and place it in the freezer. Let it freeze for 24 hours.

After 24 hours:

  • Remove the container from the freezer, take off the lid, and place it in the machine.
  • Select the ICE CREAM mode.
  • Once processing is complete, you can add mix-ins or remove the ice cream from the container and serve immediately.

Notes

If your ice cream has a grainy texture due to a very low freezing temperature, don’t worry. Select the RE-SPIN option to process the mixture once more. This additional step will help smooth the texture and achieve a creamier consistency. However, it is important to note that this option is only recommended if you are not going to add extra ingredients.
