If you love American chocolate chip cookies, this is the recipe for you. These biscuits are brown and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s a simple recipe but … only for those with a sweet tooth!
As it’s a very sweet recipe, it’s ideal for sharing. These quantities make two large cookies, so it would be perfect for 4 people. And if we add a dollop of thick cream or vanilla ice cream, we’ll take this dessert to another level.

- Butter 110 g
- White sugar 110 g
- Brown or panela sugar 110 g
- Egg L 1 unit
- Flour 200 g
- Baking soda ½ teaspoon
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Chocolate chips 80 g
- Melting chocolate 6 squares (of 10g)
Instructions
- Put the 110 g butter in a bowl and melt in the microwave in 30 second bursts.
- Add the 110 g white sugar and the 110 g panela to the butter. Mix well. Then add the egg and beat.
- Now add the 200 g flour, ½ teaspoon baking soda and another ½ teaspoon of salt. Mix everything together with a spatula.
- Finally, add the 80 g chocolate chips, saving some for the surface.
- Divide the dough in two. Put a bit of the dough on a baking tray and flatten a little. Place 3 squares of chocolate in the centre of the biscuit and cover with more dough until well sealed.
- Meanwhile preheat the air fryer for 5 minutes to 180°C
- Remove the pan from the fryer and put the mould with the biscuit in the basket. Place the frying pan in the fryer and programme at 180°C for 10 minutes.
- Halfway through cooking, remove the pan and turn the biscuit like an omelette with the help of a plate.
- Once ready, take it out and repeat the process with the other portion of dough.
