Elegant, simple and very tasty. This cocktail is undoubtedly a drink for people with an exquisite palate. A unique aniseed flavour that can be enjoyed thanks to the smoky star anise, which gives us an intense, Christmassy aroma.
Ingredients
For the syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 6 Stars Anise
For the cocktail
- 1 star anise
- 1 or 2 tablespoons aniseed syrup
- 1 teaspoon orange blossom water or vanilla extract
- 2 ounces vodka
- 1 orange peel
- Carbonated water
- Ice cream
Instructions
For the syrup
- Combine the aniseed, water and sugar in a saucepan. Simmer until the sugar has dissolved.
For the cocktail
- Place 1 star anise on a heat-resistant surface. Burn the aniseed with a blowtorch or lighter and then place the 8-ounce jar over the cardamom. Smoke for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the jar is filled with smoke.
- Add ice, aniseed syrup, orange blossom water, vodka and sparkling water and mix. Garnish with aniseed
