It’s summer and you’re struggling to find a non-caffeinated or non-carbonated drink? Easy, this Iced vanilla matcha is not only great but can be adapted if you don’t want to drink sugar or dairy as you can omit the maple syrup and replace the animal milk with a vegetable drink (we recommend oatmeal as it is the creamiest).

  • 2 teaspoons matcha powder – or to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups of water
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • Milk of choice – the creamier the better.


  • Add the matcha, water, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract and sea salt to the milk frother. Froth cold until there are no matcha lumps and the mixture is completely smooth and frothy.
  • Pour the matcha mixture over plenty of ice. Add milk and cold foam to the milkfrother. Pour into the glass.
  • Drink and enjoy.
