Ingredients

Creamy base:

  • 1 cup frozen (and thawed strawberries)
  • ½ ripe banana
  • 120 ml coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon plain Greek or plant-based yogurt
  • 4 dates

Decoration (optional but aesthetic):

  • A bit of mashed strawberries
  • Ice cubes
  • Coconut cream

Instructions

  • Add the strawberries, banana, coconut milk, yogurt, and dates to your blender. Blend until smooth and creamy. If you prefer a thinner texture, add a bit more milk.
  • (Optional) Decorate your glass: place some mashed strawberries at the bottom and lightly press with a muddler. You can also prepare the puree in a bowl and pour it in later.
  • Use a spoon to spread coconut cream along the sides of the glass.
  • Pour the smoothie into the decorated glass, add a few ice cubes if you like it extra cold, and enjoy it right away to get the full benefit of its nutrients.
