Have you heard of edamame, the trendy snack among the “real food” movement, which bets on stopping unhealthy ultra-processed food and going back to cooking and eating real food? Preparing this appetizer or snack is very simple, the healthiest thing in the world, you can add the dressings you want – or take it just with a pinch of salt – and thanks to your Chefbot’s steamer it will keep all its qualities and a crunchy and fresh texture.

Ingredients

  • 600 g edamame (fresh or frozen)
  • Salt or soy sauce to taste
  • Sweet or hot peppers or chilli to taste
  • Sesame to taste

Instructions

  • Place the bowl on the base of the Chefbot without any accessories. Add 1 litre of water and program 20 minutes at 120℃ (activate the steam function) speed 0, with the flat steam basket closed with its lid.
  • When the Chefbot warns us that it has reached the temperature to steam, add the 600 g of edamame carefully without burning yourself and close. Change the timer to 6 minutes and activate the program.
  • After 6 minutes, remove the edamame carefully without burning yourself, and serve it seasoned with salt and pepper or chili to taste.
