Vegan béchamel

Bechamel is a thick white sauce whose origin is attributed to French or Italian cuisine. This recipe is very easy to prepare and the result is a creamy béchamel sauce perfect for accompanying pasta, lasagne or moussaka.

Ingredients

  • 30 ml olive oil
  • 30 g flour
  • 480 ml soya milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of nutmeg

Instructions

  • Open the Chefbot, place the stir paddle accessory and add the olive oil and flour. Close the Chefbot and simmer at 100°C for 1 minute at speed 1.
  • Open the Chefbot, add the soya milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg and simmer at 100°C for 20 minutes at speed 1.
  • Taste and adjust (if necessary) the salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.
