COCONUT & PEACH LEMONADE SLUSH

Although this recipe is enjoyed quickly, it’s slightly more elaborate to prepare. You’ll be making two slushes and layering them in a glass to turn it into a delicious dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of coconut milk
  • 600  ml lemonade
  • 1 can of peaches in syrup
  • Sweetener to taste (sugar, syrup, dates…)

Instructions

  • You’ll need to prepare two separate slushes. We recommend having a freezer-safe container ready to store one of the slushes while preparing the other.
  • We suggest this order: first the coconut slush, then the peach lemonade slush.
  • Pour the coconut milk (mixed beforehand with sweetener) into the Slush Maker. If the coconut milk is chilled, the machine will cool faster.
  • Select the “Slush” program and let the cycle finish.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the peach lemonade: blend the lemonade with drained peaches in a blender until smooth but slightly thick. Set aside.
  • Once the coconut slush is ready, pour a first layer into the serving glasses and place them in the freezer. Transfer the remaining coconut slush into a container and freeze.
  • Now add the peach lemonade to the Slush Maker and start the Slush program. Doing this right after the coconut slush will use the machine’s low temperature and speed things up.
  • When the peach slush is almost ready, take the container (not the glasses) out of the freezer to make serving easier.
  • After about 40 minutes, serve a layer of peach slush into the chilled glasses.
  • Alternate layers of coconut and peach until the glass is full.
