Golden, crispy, and packed with Asian flavor, these homemade spring rolls win everyone over. Perfect as an appetizer or for a light dinner full of textures.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 450 g ground pork or tofu
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 green onions
- 1 ½ cups cabbage
- 8 spring roll wrappers or phyllo dough
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, heat the oil and add the sesame seeds.
- When the seeds are golden, add the meat and cook, stirring, until browned.
- Add onion powder, pepper, ginger, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and green onions.
- Cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.
- Add cabbage and cook for about 2 more minutes, until softened.
- Place one wrapper in a diamond shape.
- Put 2–3 tbsp of filling in the center in a line parallel to your body.
- Lightly moisten the edge of the wrapper with water.
- Fold the left and right corners over the filling.
- Fold the bottom corner up and roll the wrapper around the filling, pressing to release air.
- Lightly moisten the exposed corner to seal.
- Spray the air fryer basket with oil and place the rolls inside. Spray the rolls with oil.
- Cook at 190 °C for 9 minutes, turning halfway, until crispy and golden all over.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving.
