We all know that French toast with sugar and cinnamon is a huge favourite at breakfast time. However, this salty version is a great twist on the popular dish. The feta cheese adds freshness and a touch of salt to carry you off to a Mediterranean dream, and we love it.

Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread for toasting
- 1 small cup of feta cheese
- 1 teaspoon of spirulina
- 1 egg
- 1 splash of milk or vegetable substitute
- 1 pinch of salt
To decorate:
- Cucumber
- Orange
- Rocket
Instructions
- Mix the egg, salt and milk in a bowl.
- Grease a pan with oil or butter. Dip the bread in the mix and place in the pan.
- Leave until golden brown on both sides.
- Meanwhile, add the feta cheese, a splash of the water from the cheese and the spirulina to the blender workbowl. Blend until you have a thick but even cream.
- Serve to taste (with the feta cream above or below the toast) and add cucumber, rocket and pieces of orange to enjoy a delicious breakfast.
