Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups 12 oz of water
- 1/2 cup 4 oz of lime juice
- 3 tablespoons 1 1/2 oz of ginger juice
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons (3 oz of agave syrup)
- Add equal parts of dark rum and ginger beer
Instructions
- Pour the water, lime juice, ginger juice, and agave syrup into the container, filling up to the STEP 1 MAX FILL (FREEZE) line.
- Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well combined. Place the lid on and freeze for 24 hours.
After 24h
- Remove the container from the freezer and take off the lid.
- Add the ingredients for processing (dark rum and ginger beer in equal parts) up to the STEP 2 (POUR LIQUID) line.
- Place the container in the machine and select the BLENDED DRINK mode.
- Once the process is finished, pour the drink into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
You can make a non-alcoholic version by replacing the rum with water or juice to taste.
If the texture is grainy due to a very low freezer temperature, use the RE-SPIN function to smooth the mixture. If ice forms around the edges, break it up first and process again to improve the consistency.
