We know that, especially at Christmas, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting ingredients. That’s why we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to show you how to prepare these oysters with red wine granita and lime zest.
Ingredients
- 4 French oysters
- 500 ml red wine
- 1 lime (we only use the zest)
- Crushed ice for plating
Instructions
- Pour the red wine onto a tray and place in the freezer for 2 hours.
- After this time, remove the tray and scrape off the ice wine with the help of a spoon. Put it back in the freezer. Repeat the process of scraping with a spoon every hour until it is well frozen.
- Open the others with an oyster knife and place them on a small mountain of ice.
- Add a little wine granita and sprinkle with the zest of the lime.
