Lentils are like a hug in the form of food: simple, nutritious and full of flavour. There’s no need to complicate things for them to turn out tasty and tender.

Ingredients
- 300 g pardina lentils (no soaking required)
- 1 carrot (sliced)
- 1 potato (diced)
- 1 onion (quartered)
- 1 chorizo (sliced)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp sweet paprika (optional)
- Water to cover (1.2 – 1.5 L)
- Salt (at the end)
Instructions
- Place all the raw ingredients in the pot: lentils, vegetables, chorizo and bay leaf.
- Cover with water, making sure not to exceed the max fill line.
- Close the lid and select the “Soup” preset.
- When finished, let the pot release pressure naturally for about 10 minutes.
- Open carefully, stir gently and add salt to taste. If you prefer a thicker consistency, let it sit for a few more minutes.
