Ingredients

  • 1 L tomato juice
  • 250 ml vodka
  • 80 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 20 ml Worcestershire sauce (Perrins)
  • 5 ml hot sauce (e.g., Tabasco)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • Sugar (optional: 1 tsp (helps with texture and balance))
  • 200 ml cold water (helps thin and slush consistency)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth.
  • Taste and adjust spice, salt or vodka as desired.
  • Pour into the Slush Maker up to the maximum fill.
  • Select the “Slush Cocktail” program and chill for around 40 minutes.
  • Serve in a tall glass with a celery stalk when it reaches slush texture.
